Apple iPod touch rumors ramp up ahead of iPhone 5 event

 Apple is widely expected to announce its next iPhone at a press event in San Francisco on Sept. 12. While the iPhone 5 is thought to be the central focus of the event, a new crop of rumors suggest that the tech giant will refresh its iPod Touch line.

According the blog 9to5Mac, Apple is reportedly planning to update the iPod touch, shuffle and nano. Updates to the iPod touch may include a new design to accommodate the rumored, smaller dock connector on the next iPhone. The tech blog also suggest that the iPod Touch will retail for about $299 and $399 and may come in a variety of colors.

Updates for the iPad shuffle and nano are also expected. 9to5Mac’s sources say that the shuffle will add three colors to its offerings – going from five colors to eight.   1. Well I think it is right on the corner that we will see the iPhone and the iPods now. I am not waiting for the company to launch something again similar as I know all the features will be same. iPhone 4 rumors did not do any good last year right?
